It was in the early piece of the 2000's, that Mr. Ravi Naik, the then Minister for and Chairman of Ponda Education Society played with beginning a College of Education in the rambling P.E.S Campus. After much thoughts and dealings with the Goa University,Directorate of Higher Education and NCTE (National Council of Teacher Education), P.E.S's College of Education was conceived. Mr. Ravi Naik's group of similarly invested altruistic natives of Ponda for example the P.E.S Management individuals set up together their dynamism and began this College that would convey B.Ed. Degree-holders into society. This College was the finish of Mr.Ravi Sitaram Naik's fantasy and an augmentation of his work for the impeded segments of society. Ponda Education Society's College of Education began off as a juvenile Institution and has now turned into a banyan tree with a few offices which have been included part by part, step by step. The school started taking in 2004, 100 educator students close behind, 7 tenderfoot instructors, Mr. Gurunath Khanolkar as Coordinator, Dr. Anil Dinge as Officiating Principal.P.E.S's College of Education before long demonstrated its value in light of the fact that in its absolute first year the three school rankers were the University rankers too.Soon the school entered the subsequent year. In 2008-09, a full-time Principal Dr. Shashikala Gaikwad assumed control over the school. She had a stern and academic character and took our school higher than ever. Another control entered the Institution and her rich encounters acquired new collections of idea and activity. She served the school for two astounding years and passed on the cudgel to Dr. Geeta Iyer who drove the group during 2010-11.
