Barely any individuals from Raipur-Bar were permeated with the craving of opening Law College at Raipur, as the Region of Chattisgarh was having none. As wanted by the associates they mentioned Mr. M. Bhaduri and Mr. P. Bhaduri the doyens at Bar. 

Accused of the spirits, both Bhaduri's alongside other Shri.R.V.Nalgundwar, Shri W. N. Mokasadar, Shri B. B. L. Tiwari and Shri Ahmad Ali attempted, "Law College" was begun at Chhattisgarh College in the year 1948. A little break with respect to free self-governance, they isolated. 

The soul guzzled in them to have its own different Law College was the loved want. Despite the fact that reserve represented an extraordinary issue, both the Bhaduri's drawn nearer Shri Ram Narayan Dixit, Ex-Malguzar Raipur, Chhattisgarh who liberally gave his 'Mohan Bagicha' in the core of the City at Moudhapara, Raipur Chhattisgarh for the school with a longing that the Society be named in memory of his darling little girl 'Durga Bai'. In this way, the Society is named and styled 'Durga Education Society', appropriately enrolled under the Societies Registration Act. (Reg. No. 55 of 1950-51, Registrar Joint Stock Company M. P. Nagpur). 

Under this flag, the 'Law College' was begun having particular self-sufficiency in the year 1950, where sacrificially they rendered their administrations. Following a couple of years 'Trade and Arts' staff was flunged open. Toward the start, 'Law College' was housed entitled four-room loft which is the principal pioneer organization viz, D.E.S. Law College in the area of Chhattisgarh. 

With their tireless exertion, presently the school, keep running under the 'Durga Education Society' has taken a major shape and is viewed as the greatest instructive establishment in the province of Chhattisgarh. 

In setting it is hard to overlook the name of Shri Lalji Ghela Bhai Shah, who was one of the instruments in the development of Durga College Complex Building.
