The College of Education under the administration of big-hearted and acclaimed D.N.R. School Association in Andhra Praadesh Affiliated to Andhra University and serves the Andhra University locale. On the eve of the development of the West Godavari Bhimavaram College (W.G.B.College) in the year 1945, it was the affectionate wish of a first class segment of general society to stretch out the instructive chances to people in general of each niche and Corner of the West Godavari District under the dynamic administration recently Sri.Dantuluri Narayana Raju garu. Later the College was named after the originator head and organizer secretary Dantuluri Narayana Raju as D.N.R.College. Honorable and edified considerations were spread and formed the school into the status of a Deemed University by presenting numerous new and commendable courses at the degree and post Graduate levels by beginning Post Graduate Center and some other new Colleges like College of law, College of Education, and so on., Now the D.N.R.College Association is stretched withdifferent resources for Kindergarten to Post Graduate (K.G. to P.G.) level and Research offices.
The Management of the D.N.R.College Association felt the desperate need to begin a College of Education to advance the Teacher Education and inturn to upgrade the gauges of School Education in Andhra Pradesh. The College of Education under D.N.R.College Association was set up in the year 1983 with the endorsement of Govt. of Andhrapradesh. The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh updated this College to Post Graduate level by authorizing M.Ed., Course from the scholastic year 1995-96. Since the initiation of the College, the scholastic qualities are being kept up and getting great outcomes. A portion of our understudies who were settled in the training calling were chosen for best educator grants at the District and State Levels. The College of Education has two story structures, (one for B.Ed., and one for M.Ed.,) with very much outfitted study halls, all around prepared Laboratories of Psychology, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Social Studies, Educational Technology and all around created Library, play ground with all sources of info.
