Anglo Sanskrit College for Women, Khanna, came into existence in 1973, when A.S. college Management Committee determined to upgrade A.S.College Khanna, Girls’ wing to the standing of a full-fledged degree faculty for Arts students w.e.f. the educational session 1973-74 with an alittle range of 473 women. The formal inauguration of the College was performed by the then Chief Minister of the state, Giani Zail Singh Islamic Community. The mission behind the institution was to produce value-based education and to create woman students economically freelance and woke up. The college is set on Amloh Road, Khanna. It's housed during a splendid building of its own with well-equipped spacious play-grounds, sprawling lawns, blooming flowers, Gymnasium Hall, Home –Science Labs, Language laboratory, Commerce-Block, computer Labs, Fashion coming up with laboratory, Fine Arts space, Sada Virsa space, an enormous well equipped ethereal library and a double floor hostel building. the College is related to Panjab University, Chandigarh.
