Kandra Radhakanta Kundu Mahavidyalaya was built up on 16 March, 2001 in the town of Kandra, a land consecrated by the recollections of Jnanadas the Vaishanavite artist, and worshiped as a veritable Vrindavan undercover. The Chandidas Bhavan has in the ground floor regular spaces for young men and young ladies, graduated class' room, and the divisions of Education, Philosophy, Political Science and Economics. In the primary floor we have Professors' Room and Department of English, Department of Sanskrit in the Paramahansa Hall and a cutting edge open study hall in the Sharat Hall.
