GDR College of Education was accepted under Gopal Dev Society managed by Sh. S. L. Garg (chairman).This college was accepted in the year 2007 introducing 1 year B.Ed. course. In 2008, 2 year D.Ed. course was also introduced in the college. These program are identify by NCTE, Jaipur and affiliated to K.U.K. The college has intake of 200 candidates in B.Ed. and 100 candidates in D.Ed. The college offers education to the candidates from U.P. , Jharkhand and other far off states.
The college highlight in preparing the competent teacher to compete and accept challenges of knowledge growing society with new technology. Dr. Balwan Singh , having vast experience in teaching leads the GDR as Principal with a team of committed faculty.
Infrastructure
The college has a well appoint ICT laboratory fitted with 28 computer Pentium IV with printer & scanners. In ICT there have one LCD Projector , 3 OHP and 1 slide projector. The resource centre have sitting capacity of 50 candidates. All the educational work relating to holding of seminars and conference is carried out along the computer. College has also offer internet facility to all the candidates. Qualified & trained faculty is handling the computers and providing instructions to the candidates in the teacher education programme.
