City College of Education (CCE) is identify by Northern Regional Committee of National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi which is a statutory body of Union Government accepted under an act of Parliament.

Earlier City College of Education was associated to “A” NAAC Grade awarded university Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Now as per order of Haryana Government all educational colleges of Haryana have been associated to Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind-a state Government university of Haryana.
