Mata Harki Devi Memorial Institutions at village Odhan are catering to the educational needs of the rural zone from nursery to post graduation. To meet the need for capable and quality teachers, our worthy chairman S. Hardayal Singh, who is always striving to encourage education for women, especially in the remote rural areas of the state, decided to establish a ‘Teacher Education College’ with its recognition as Mata Harki Devi College of Education for Women – Odhan. The college came into existence in 2006 with the initial intake of 100 candidates under the Presidentship of Ch. Bharat Singh. In 2007-08 the intake was increased to 300. The college is associated to Choudhary Devi Lal University.
