Al-Noor College of education has been established by an NGO namely "Future Vision Society J&K (regd.) in the year 2003. Al-Noor means "the light". The light that comes through education, knowledge, and learning. The aim of the institution is to impart high quality education to the students. The college is temporarily affiliated to The University Of Kashmir for imparting instructions in B.Ed course. Al-Noor college has its own building, a specious, well ventilated, airy RC.C gaint structure wihich the Dean College Development Counsil, Kashmir University Professor Rais Akhter inagurated on 16th December 2003.

Library And Reading rooms: The college has well qualified forward looking, and interactive staff on board. The college has spacious well furnished library with over 8000 books for its B.Ed students. The college subscribes the professional journals and magazines besides keeping available all the leading National and Local dailies. The college has well equipped computer lab and a spacious laboratory.

The college has a rich library having thousands of books on all subjects taught in B.Ed. course.There is good number of 'General' as well as 'Reference' books. We also have subscription to some general as well as professional journals, and magzines. We have a well equipped, ventilated, lighted and airy reading rooms wich the students use for enriching their knowledge.
