RAMGOVIND GROUP OF COLLEGES (R.G.C.) was established in 2004, in joint collaboration (PPP mode) with Govt. of Jharkhand, under special initiative by Govt. of Jharkhand to promote technical education in the state, with two collages, Ramgovind Institute of Technology (R.I.T) & Ramovind Polytechnic Institute (R.P.I) as its wings. The Institutes are being developed under the able guidance of experienced Technocrats, Engineers and Academicians from all parts of the country as well as globally.

R.G.C. is situated in Jhumri Tilaiya, 5 km. from Koderma Railway Station on Patna-Ranchi Highway, about 20 km from the Grand Trunk Road and 14 km from Tilaiya Dam. Spread over 57 acre sylvan landscape with plenty of greenery and hills around with a WI-FI facilities in the campus. The natural beauty in around the campus makes it a wonderful place to live and learn. Koderma Railway Station is on Grand Chord Line, well connected by all Trains through out India.
