It is established in 2005 to impart teacher education. It has completed 10 years in the pursuit of education effectively. The college is affiliated to Punjabi University Patiala and
approved by N.C.T.E. Jaipur and accredited with NAAC by getting C.G.P.A. 2.82 points. The mission of the college is to enable the students to develop inner discipline, creativity
and creation of perfect teachers. The teachers here are provided in service training in order to improve their professional competence. In order to develop team and competitive
spirit, the college has inter-house system with class representatives to provide proper interaction with the administrative authorities.
The mission of the college is to offer world class quality education and campus ambience, which aims at realizing the full potential like physical, emotional, social, intellectual
and spiritual development of each student and to inculcate values and attitude for success in life in the pupil teachers.
The college offers three academic programmes B.Ed ( Bachelor of Education), M.Ed (Master of Education) and M.A Education.
The core curriculum of three programmes also includes practicum / work based learning. Since the college has to train students in teaching learning process, it does have a
good linkage with the schools in near by village as well as schools of Sangrur city. The practice teaching plans are developed in partnership cooperatively involving the school
staff and mentor teachers. During practice period, the school subject teachers also use to observe the lessons of the student teachers. The head of the schools interact with
students and give overall feedback about performance of students during teaching practice.
