Seth Tek Chand College of Education, Rattan Dera Road, Kurukshetra has been set up by Seth Tek Chand Memorial Public School, Kurukshetra, with the objective to impart and enhance the quality of education in general and meeting the need of producing trained teachers in particular. This society was set-up and registered on 29th Day of December, 1993 under the Society Act 1860, started functioning in 1994 with mere 50 students under the banner â€œSeth Tek Chand Memorial Public School”, affiliated to CBSE which is now one of the well reputed, full-fledged senior secondary schools of Kurukshetra.
