Late Lala Chedi Lal established the Sanskrit Pathshala Shiksha Samiti on on 9th August 1905. The objective was to propagate education amongst young children. In the year 1917, Chedi Lal Ji donated his house located in cantonment area of Lucknow, to setup Sanskrit Pathshala for primary school children. Gradually with the effort of the management committee, in the year 1957, the pathshala got recognition for Highschool. The Highschool flourished and in the year 1977 the institute became an Intermediate college.
