Adarniya Jaywantrao Bhosale established the Krishna Charitable Trust in 1974 with the object of providing School, Medical Education and health care to the rural population.

 

This charitable Trust runs Montessori, English Medium School and Jr. college (Pri. Primary, Primary, Secondary and Jr. College of Science) at Koyna Vasahat Tal – Karad Dist- Satara.

 In 1984 Krishna Charitable Trust started the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences to give Medical Education to the students in this area. Beside Medical courses, the college also provides job oriented training by running the school of Nursing and DMLT courses. Physiotherapy college was started in 2002 recognizing the need of trained physiotherapist in this area.   The trust has established a 550 bedded hospital which is the referral hospital for the people of Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur  District and entire Konkan area of Maharastra.
