The institution is the very first private (un-aided) institution imparting 2 years Diploma course in Pharmacy, in Satara district.
It started as a small unit of the Satara Polytechnic, Satara and now has all the infra structural necessities like class rooms,laboratories, library, computer center and others as per the requirements specified by the Pharmacy Council Of India, New Delhi, AICTE New Delhi, DTE Mumbai and MSBTE Mumbai.
PCI New Delhi which is the Highest regulatory government body in Pharmacy education in India, invited our institution in the celebrations of completion of its 50 years of establishment, in 1999-2000.
The institute has arranged several exhibitions and other programs on social awareness, personal health ,social health, health economics etc.
Several students of this institute are now working or continuing their education in overseas instituitons,the foundation of them was built up in this organisation.
In future too, we shall march ahead on the same path and try to contribute in the socio-economic developments by providing knowledged, confident,trained and cultured Pharmacisrts to our beloved country, the India.
