Karamveer Bhausaheb Hiray, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir trust had its humble beginning in 1952, with the precedence of Adivasi Seva Samiti founded in 1945, with devotional moto- BAHUJAN HITAY BAHUJAN SUKHAYA (benefit and happiness to one and all). The great successors Late Hon. Vyankatraoji Hiray and Hon. Pushpatai Hiray took forward the trust and gave justice to the moto of trust. Currently the trust is working under the able guidance of Hon. Shri. Prashantdada Hiray and it is further nurtured by Hon. Dr. Apoorva Hiray and Hon. Shri Advay Hiray who in tune with the time has expanded the scope of establishing professional colleges. MGV's Education trust has gained massive appreciation since inception and has already set a high benchmark in the field of education. The trust started with the diploma course in pharmacy in Nashik's list of professional institutes and gradually expanded to a vibrant center of excellence. Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir's Pharmacy College in one of the oldest private educational institute under Savitribai Phule Pune University. MGV runs D.Pharm (since 1972), B.Pharm (since 1993), M-Pharm (since 2005) course. It is also a recognized Ph.D center of Savitribai Phule Pune University, in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
