Medical mission secular Institute, Nityaseva Hospital was started in 1974 at Shevgaon, which is a drought prone area, to serve the poor and needy population of rural area.
It is a 120 bedded hospital, which provides Medical, Surgical, Pediatric, Obstetric, Gynaec, I.C.U. and Casualty care. In 1984 Community Health Centre was started in order to reach out to more rural Population and to provide basic health and socio-economic uplift services. These services are given at present in 48 Villages through mobile clinics, which includes preventive, primitive, rehabilitative and children services.
The special targeted group for these services is Mothers and Children. The socio-economic services are given through various Government schemes. The special stress is given on Women’s Development through Women’s Associations and SHG (Self Help Groups), academic education as well as professional trainings, especially for girls.
