Combined (P.G.) Institute of Medical Sciences & Research functions under the imperatives of “J.J. Educational Institute†4-B, Race Course, Dehradun, an educational society registered under the Indian society registration act 1860. It is a self financing institute in Uttarakhand state attached with 450 bedded multi specialty indoor hospitals. Located in capital city of Uttarakhand, it’s serenity and tranquility adds to the pleasure of learning. The institute has become a centre of excellence in Paramedical & Nursing education in North India. The CIMSR is affiliated to the prestigious Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University and is approved by Government of Uttarakhand, Nursing Council of India, New Delhi and Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
The present institute campus is spread over in an area of 15,000 sq.metres, which includes the administrative block, library, cafeteria, lecturer theatres and laboratories of different departments, on the national highway at Haridwar Road, Dehradun approx 10 Kms. from Clock Tower. The campus includes separate boys and girls hostels & huge playground. The CIMSR is attached with CMI, a well equipped multi speciality indoor hospital on the main Haridwar Road near railway station. CIMSR is commited to the highest grade of equality education, imparting pratical based training program in various degree courses. This is the first institute recognised by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi providing B.Sc. & M.Sc. Nursing in the Uttarakhand State.
