Guru Nanak College of Education is a Sikh Minority College affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and recognized by NCTE NCR. It was established by the sincere efforts of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (Statutary Body Estd. Under the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Act. 1971 of the Govt. of India) in August 2003 with the aim of providing high quality pre service teacher education and supporting school education as a feeder. Since its establishment GNCE is sincerely focusing on creating competent teachers and empowering them to realize their potential and to serve the mankind.In B.Ed. course, GNCE has an intake of 100 students out of which 50% seats are reserved for Sikh students. All the admissions are done on the basis of candidates’ merits in Combined Entrance Test held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The College has ISO 2001-2008 certification.
