The Wanless Hospital, Miraj Medical Centre, Miraj, which reflects 115 years of healing and hope since its existence, has earned a name for the high quality of its nursing services reflecting the background of an excellent nursing education rendered by the College of Nursing run by the establishment.

The College of Nursing, Wanless Hospital, Miraj, is renowned world-wide as is obvious by the thousands of ex-graduates employed in various responsible capacities in countries at home and abroad.
From its inception in 1929 till date, the College runs the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programme, and from 1979 it started the P.B.B.Sc Nursing programme. The Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme commenced from 2005. We look forward in faith and confidence to add one more feather in our academic cap to commencing the M.Sc.Nursing programme very shortly.

The College of Nursing building stands independently in the vast campus of Wanless Hospital and has all academic infrastructure and requirements such as Fundamental of Nursing, Nutrition, Maternal and Child Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Anatomy and Physiology and Computer laboratories; not forgetting internet facilities as well as a well equipped Library, as prescribed by the statutory nursing bodies. Other than the academic achievements of the College, the clinical areas of the Hospital provide all the specialties and super-specialties with ultramodern equipment to cater to the practical learning and skills of the nursing students. Various co-curricula and extra curricula activities are part of the personal and professional growth of the students.
