Sree Narayana College of Education is a self –financing College of Education established by the management of the SNDP Yogam Union, Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam District, and Kerala in the year 2003. The college is situated near its sister institutions, SNDP High School and SNDP Higher Secondary School. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala and is approved by the NCTE. The vision of the institution is linked to the great luminary Sree Narayana Guru after whom the college is named. The college upholds the motto Empower to Enlighten. The college management is dedicated to the task of ensuring effective and efficient intervention in academic and administrative aspects of the college. The success of the college stems from the synergic efforts of the management, the principal, the members of the faculty, the non teaching staff and student-teachers.
  The college offers a two year BEd Programme   with an intake of 150 seats. Admissions to the programme are done as per the norms of the affiliating university and the NCTE. The college is blessed with an excellent infra structure and all the modern amenities that act as a catalyst in promoting the teaching –learning process. The college functions in its own building with well furnished and ventilated classrooms. The classrooms are provided with all modern equipment and are supported by psychology lab, ICT lab, language lab and subject labs. The college library has sufficient number of good books, journals, periodicals etc and is computerized.
