B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Bidar- NAAC 'B' graded institution is the premier college, was established in the year 1960.
The founder President, Late Sri.Mahadevappa Rampure who was considered as Madan Mohan Malviya of this area, with the involvement of Sri.Prabhurao Kambliwale, and Principal B.T.Sasnur laid the strong foundation.
Dr. K.L. Srimali, the then Minister of Education Govt. of India laid the foundation for the College building. The College is situated on 52 acres of land. Sri. B.T. Sasnur was the first principal who toiled, day in and day out to lay the strong foundation. His services as a teacher, administrator and a visionary are being felt by every one even now. The Divisional Commissioner Sri. Alur Basappa & Sri. N.K. Prabhakar Rao helped in acquiring land of 52 acres. The college was built with generous contribution of business people, farmers, and philanthropist of Bidar. Prof. S.G. Patil took over the charge of Principal and started new courses like Commerce, Electronics, Rural Development and Computer Science P.G.D.C.A.
