The School of nursing attached to Lisa Hospital, directed by Dr P. M Mathai, was inaugurated in the year 2002. It aims at nurturing nurses to serve humanity with love and dedication. The school is recognized by The Kerala Nursing council and The Indian Nursing council. Four batches have passed out since it opened it’s doors and we are proud to mention that many of our students are serving in prestigious institutions in India and around the world. The school maintains it’s infrastructure as per the norms of the Indian Nursing Council ( INC ). There is no dearth of clinical exposure for the students and they also get opportunities to utilize the facilities at Government institutions With regard to psychiatry nursing, community health nursing, palliative care etc. We aim not only at academic and professional development, but also in spiritual, social, leadership and personality development.
Our students get opportunity to cultivate their skills in arts and sports through the student nurses association programmes. The endurance and commitment shown by the management and the teachers were truly rewarded when our students were being recognized for their expertise and dedication in many of the institutions they serve.
