Keeping in view, the need of the time and the hour after sheer comprehend for the need for education in general and higher Education in particular, Came into existence Shree Khambhat Taluka Sarvajanik Kelavani Mandal in the year 1960 established by the most experienced and devoted Soul Late Shree Ranjitray Shastri Number of Colleges, Schools, hostels came under this Mandal umbrella Our institute Smt. B.C.J.College of Education is also a part of this Kelavani Mandal was established in 1969. As on today, 108 students in are following the course. The College is affiliated with Gujarat University. The main aim of the college is to train the students for  secondary and higher secondary teachers. The College is imparting lessons, micro lessons and Block Teaching to give the practical training to the Students. It also conducts co-curricular activities.At present with a Large Campus and totally academic environment, the institute is proud to be a leading Educational Complex of the region.The Centralized Admission Committee framed by the Gujarat University admits students on their merits. Academic staff Participates in framing of new curriculum at  faculty level. Interactive and participatory programmes are regularly organized by the College which provides opportunities to trainees and teacher educators to know and understand each other.
