Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate who wants to take admission should have a Master’s degree in with at least fifty five percent (55%) like M.S. / MD (Ayurveda). Candidate should have 50% marks who belong to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually Handicapped (VH).
- Candidates can also apply provisionally for the Ph.D. Entrance Examination who are appearing in PG Final Year Examination
- Candidate must serve for a period of a minimum of one year as per University/State Govt. Rules in the case of a regular teaching faculty member of the University or its affiliated college applying for a Ph.D. degree.
Procedure for Admission
- Depending upon the facilities and expertise of eligible faculty members University will notify the number of seats for Ph.D. students annually.
- The selection of candidates will be based on (i) Through Research Entrance Test and (ii) Direct Admission (without appearing in Entrance Test).
- The admission merit will be in the order of (i) NET-JRF (or equivalent national test) and (ii) Entrance Test.
- Candidates shall be exempted from the Research Entrance Test who has qualified UGC/CSIR- JRF test or equivalent national test like DBT JRF, ICMR JRF.
Entrance Test
- The entrance will contain a 50% research methodology to test knowledge and a 50% relevant subject.
- Qualifying marks for the entrance test will be half, given that an unwinding of 5% of imprints (from half to 45%) will be taken into consideration the up-and-comers having a place with SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layers)/Differently abled classification in the selection test directed by the University. About University
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur is the first Ayurved University of Rajasthan and is the second University of its sort in India. It was built up by the RAU Act - 2002 (Act No. 15 of 2002) which came into power w.e.f. May 24, 2003. This University offers an alliance to all the universities/establishments of Ayurved, Unani, Homeopathy and Yoga and Naturopathy for the Ph.D., PG, UG, Diploma, and Certificate courses. This University offers admission to its degree flows through the Joint Entrance Test at the National level/State level.
The University has its own one constituent University College of Ayurved at Kadvad Campus, Jodhpur two constituent DAN, and P preparing Centers one at Kadvad and another at Poonjala Campus both in Jodhpur, and one constituent University College of Unani in University's Charai, Tonk Campus.
