Minimum Qualification For Enrolment

  • Candidate should have an MD (Ayurveda)/MS (Ayurveda) from a recognized University and approved by CCIM.
  • OR
  • should have M.Sc. Botany, M.Sc. Chemistry and Post Graduation (M.D.) in any medical stream from a recognized University.
  • Preference will be given to Research experience holders and Ayurvedic Teachers. 


Duration for the Ph.D. Degree

  • The minimum duration will be 2 years and the maximum duration will be 5 years. Registration will be automatically canceled after 5 years. With the permission of Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, one mercy chance may be allowed for genuine reasons.


Procedure for the admission

  • The admission will be done only once every year.
  • At the time of admission, a list of available guides will be displayed along with vacancies under them.
  • Students can also apply for registration who are appearing in the Final Year Examination for M.D./M.S. (Ayurveda). However, they have to pass M.D./M.S. (Ayurveda) examinations before the admission process.
  • The guides will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their choice for the guide, their merit, acceptance of the guide, and availability of the seats under the guides.

Research Project

  • It is compulsory that the applicant should finish his/her examination work under the management/direction of his/her Guide at where the guide is posted. Underemployment applicants must choose a co-manual to accomplish his examination work with the authorization/assent of his Guide. 

Submission of synopsis

  • Competitors will present the outline of the examination venture under the guide and will present the equivalent with the endorsement of the guide inside a quarter of a year of the designation of the guide. 

Submission of the Thesis
