World University Of Design Ph.D. Admission

World University Of Design invites for admission into various Full Time and Part Time Ph.D. Programmes under disciplines of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture and Management. Through a written test and Interview admission to the Ph.D. Programmes will be made.

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)

To be eligible to apply for admission to the Ph.D. Program, applicants must have at least one of the following qualifications:

Indian Students

• Master’s degree with 55% aggregate marks in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to clear written test and Interview; 
• Other conditions as prescribed in the Guidelines for Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs.
• (5% relaxation to SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently-abled candidates)

International students

• A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent, from a reputed University.
• A score of at least 6.5 in IELTS or equivalent qualifying test for the English language.
• Proven writing skills.

• Interested candidates would send in an application along with required documents to the Chair of the Ph.D. program at [email protected]. The documentation required consists of –
• Filled & scanned Application form (downloaded from www.wud.ac.in) with scanned copies of documents in support of eligibility.
• A typed 500-word detailed statement of the proposed research project.
• Copy of Curriculum vitae
• A portfolio of creative works, if relevant
• Scores from any PhD entrance exam recognized by UGC (NET/ JRF)/ CSIR (NET/ JRF)/ ICAR (JRF/ SRF) examination/ GATE/ GPAT scorecard/ ICAR Teacher Fellowship or any other University’s Ph.D. or equivalent entrance test, if available.
