Eligibility for Admission
School Of Engineering And Technology (Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English)
- M.Tech.(Engineering) / M.Phil.( Physics, Chemistry, Maths) / M.A.(English) degree with min. 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent
- OR M.Sc./ M.A (Maths) degree with min. 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent, with NET/GATE/JRF/SLET qualified
- OR M.Sc./ M.A (Maths) with min. 67.5% marks in aggregate or equivalent
- OR B.Tech. degree from IITs with min. 67.5% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
School Of Management
- Post-graduation in any branch of Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Management, Operations Research with min. 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent.
School of Law
- Master’s Degree in Law from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent
- OR Master’s Degree in any discipline with qualifications in social sciences, humanities and sciences with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent
- OR Judge of any State High Court in India with three years’ experience or Judge of Supreme Court of India.
Procedure for Admission
Candidates will have to appear in Entrance Test named ‘NCU Ph. D. Entrance Test’ (NPET) who do not have a valid score in national tests like GATE, UGC-NET, and SLET
- NPET marks – 50%,
- Qualifying degree marks – 30%, and
- Interview –20%
Candidates shall be exempted from NPET who have valid score in the above National tests.
- National level test score – 50%,
- Qualifying degree marks - 30%, and
- Interview –20%
Subjects offered in Ph.D.
Application Fee
- With a completely filled application form an application fee of Rs. 1000/-is required to be submitted.
- For offline application, the fee should be paid through DD in favor of ‘THE NORTHCAP UNIVERSITY, GURUGRAM’ payable at Gurugram/Delhi or in cash at NCU campus
Programme Fee
- The annual fee is Rs. 78,000/- , Rs. 39,000/- each at the beginning of each semester
- Caution Money: A sum of Rs. 5,000/-
