About Ph.D. Program

Ph.D. is known as Doctor of Philosophy. It is the most advanced research degree and the highest degree in many countries. Candidate can do PhD full time or part-time. Candidate will get exemption in duration who have M.Phil., or M. Litt.

• Full-time Programme: Min 3 years - Max 5 years (including course work)
• Part-time Programme: Min 3 years - Max 6 years (including course work)

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have a Master Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a recognized university or college.
• Candidates who have passed the M.Phil. Degree in the concerned subject is also eligible to apply for Ph.D. Admission.

Admission Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance test conducted by the university and followed by an Interview. Candidates who have qualified the UGC-CSIR NET JRF or GATE examinations are exempted from the entrance test. Candidates should bring all original documents at the time of personal interview for verifications.
