Qualification Criteria

• Candidate must have 55% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant subject / 50% in case of Medical Courses (SC / ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation)
• The qualifying degree should be recognized by the UGC / Central Council of Indian Medicine / Pharmacy Council of India / Central Council of Homoeopathy / Association of Indian Universities / Indian Nursing Council / Council of Architecture / All India Council for Technical Education.

Selection Procedure

The admission will be based on the following:

Written Test: 100 multiple-choice questions containing online Written Test (2hrs) at the University campus which contains

• Research Methodology- 50 Marks 
• Subject Specific- 50 Marks

The Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (Including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil programme shall appear for the Ph.D. Entrance Test of 50 marks of 1hr duration comprising MCQ based Research Methodology only. 

Viva: Vivaconsisting of 50 marks in the following manner 

• Personal Interview 
• Brief Presentation using teaching aids about the proposed research topic

The merit list will be prepared based on the performance in both the Online Written Test  and Viva
