O.P. Jindal international University pH.D. Admission

The University shall give for studies and analysis resulting in the award of a pH.D. Degree. The Ph.D. Programme shall be conducted at and thru the

Schools/ Institutes of the University.

Categories of Admission

• Full-time pH.D. students with or while not fellowship.
• Ph.D. students WHO ar college members/ workers of the University.
• Ph.D. students underneath the external registration programme recognized by the University and sponsored by and utilized within the organization/ industry/ university/ alternative establishments, WHO can commonly perform their analysis within the organization/ industry/ university/ alternative establishments of their employment.
• Ph.D. students from partner universities/ establishments with that JGU has MOUs or cooperative arrangements.
• Ph.D. students following part-time pH.D.

Admission Procedure

• The Ph.D. Programme begins double every year - within the fall semester (on one August) and therefore the spring semester (on one February).
• Applications for admission shall be accepted ceaselessly over the year on a rolling basis.
• An applier shall submit: associate online/ offline application through the JGU website/ office;
• A scanned copy of the relevant educational transcripts;
• A short note on the skilled background and knowledge of the applier, if any; 
• A “Statement of Purpose” explaining why the applier desires to pursue the pH.D. Programme, in around 1500 words;
• A “Brief Proposal” explaining the realm of analysis within the format mentioned in Annexure A
• The names of 2 academic/ non-academic referees from whom the University might look for info on the analysis potential of the applier.
• An applier is needed to pay associate application fee determined by the University.

Selection Procedure

• Applicants fulfilling minimum eligibility criteria as per these rules shall be needed to require associate Entrance check followed by associate Interview.
• In addition, a School/ Institute might order a further choice check or a written examination.
• a) The qualifying marks in entrance check shall be a minimum of five hundredths.
• b) The info of the doorway check shall comprise five hundredth of analysis methodology and five hundredths shall be subject specific.
• The following classes of candidates are also exempted from taking the doorway Test:
• a) candidates WHO have qualified UGC/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET/ SLET (Haryana State) or the other similar examination.
• b) Holders of Teacher Fellowships from the UGC or the other Government funding agency.
• c) candidates WHO have completed their pH.D. coursework/ M.Phil. in another University/ Organization, subject to approval by the SDC.
• Candidates shall be hand-picked on the premise of the educational record and therefore the potential of the applier incontestable throughout the doorway check and Interview.
• Admissions to the pH.D. Programme should be approved by the individual SDC.
