NMIHACM PhD Admission 2026 - Subjects, Eligibility, Admission Process

National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology (NMIHACM) is a Deemed to be University under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, situated in the National Museum premises, Janpath, New Delhi. Qualification Criteria for Admission to PH.D. Courses 

Ph.D. (History of Art) 

Any Person holding a Master Degree with least 55% checks in M.A. History of Art / History / Archeology / Anthropology / Esthetics or its proportional from a perceived University/Institute. 

Ph.D. (Preservation) 

Any Person holding a Master Degree with least 55% marksin M.A. Preservation or Master Degree in Chemistry/Physics/Life Sciences/Museology/Architecture or its identical from a perceived University/Institute. 

Ph.D. (Museology) 

Any Person holding a Master Degree with least 55% stamps in Museology or Master Degree in History/Ancient Indian History and Archeology or its equal from a perceived University/Institute. 

Qualification Criteria for in Service Personnel 

In administration staff working with Central Government / State Government / Autonomous association / Universities financed by Central or State Government / NGOs (in a specific order) with in any event 5 years standard administration, having the above required capability, will likewise be qualified to apply. 

Selection Procedure 

• A written test of one hour length pursued by association.
