MSU Tirunelveli Distance Education Admission 2026 - Programs, Important Dates and Application Procedure
Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) is a powerful foundation of higher learning, set in a country milieu of southern Tamil Nadu, with a grounds spread of 550 sections of land. The University was built up by the Government of Tamil Nadu as an educating cum-affiliating University on seventh September 1990 to oblige the since quite a while ago felt needs of the individuals of the three southernmost areas of Tamil Nadu viz., Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, and Kanyakumari.
It is named after the eminent Tamil Poet researcher, Professor P. Sundaram Pillai (1855-1897), the creator of the well-known stanza show Manonmaniam. It is his ballad that has become "Tamil Thaai Vazhthu" the official conjuring tune sung in all capacities in Tamilnadu.
