Registration Fee: Rs. 5000 ( The registration fee should be submitted in the form of DD in the name of Registrar, Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner).

Eligibility criteria

  • Candidate should have a Master's degree with at least 55% marks or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master's degree with equivalent grade.
  • From 55% to 50% relaxation of 5% of marks may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC.
  • A candidate who have completed M.Phil. course work with at least 55 % marks. From 55% to 50% relaxation of 5% of marks may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC.

Entrance Exam

  • University will conduct an entrance test named “Combined Eligibility Test” for admission into Ph.D. Program.
  • The syllabus of the CET will be the same as NET/JRF examinations conducted by the UGC/CSIR/ICAR.
  • The test shall be of 2 hrs duration.
  • Combined Eligibility Test will be of two hours duration which contains 100 multiple choice objective questions based on general awareness, academic aptitude, and subject proficiency of 300 marks.
  • The Test will be of a maximum of 300 marks and an interview of 30 marks.
  • There shall be no negative marking.

Provisional Registration
