JSS University, officially called JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), was set up in 1999 by the JSS Mahavidyapeetha – a trust that has been working for rural upliftment, primary schooling and vocational training since 1954 under the visionary leadership of late Shri Shri Shri Dr. Shri Shri Dr. Shivakumara Swamiji.
