Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM) is a doctoral-level program in Rural Management approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). IRMA is in the process of seeking a Ph.D. equivalence of FPRM from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

FPRM is a doctoral/Ph.D. level research program in Rural Management leading to the title of "Fellow, Institute of Rural Management, Anand". It has a minimum residency requirement of three years. To be eligible for admission to the FPRM 2020 programme an applicant must satisfy the following two conditions:

Eligibility: Anybody with a postgraduate or postgraduate equivalent degree/diploma from a recognized university or institution in any discipline with minimum first class marks or equivalent grade can apply. (relaxation of 5% for SC / ST / OBC-NC / Differently Abled Person). Those expecting to complete the final exams of these degrees by July 01, 2020, may also apply.

Qualifying Exams:  Having valid scores/results of the last five years in any of the following standard qualifying exams or tests.

• CAT/XAT  
• GMAT/GRE 
• UGC-JRF/NET 
• CSIR-JRF/NET 
• ICAR-SRF  
• ICAR/ASRB-NET
• GATE

The percentage of aggregate marks is to be determined according to the training followed by the concerned college or foundation. Research Proposal

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Selection process at IRMA where they should take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2020 (IRMASAT 2020), Group Activity and Personal Interview. IRMASAT 2020, GA and PI procedure will be led at IRMA.

Program Structure 

The Structure of the Program 

The two principal parts of the Program are – Study and research of thorough coursework in Rural Management and a doctoral proposition accommodation. 

Coursework Component:

Fellowship
