Steps to Apply for a Change of Elective/Course in IGNOU:

1. Check Eligibility & Time Limit

   • You can request a change of elective/course within the first year of admission (before submitting the first-semester/year assignments).

   • The change is subject to approval by the respective Regional Centre.

2. Download the Application Form

   • Visit the official IGNOU website: www.ignou.ac.in

   • Go to the \"Student Zone\" section and look for the \"Change of Course/Elective\" form.

   • Alternatively, download the form directly from your Regional Centre’s website.

3. Fill the Form Correctly

   • Enter your Enrollment Number, Programme Name, and Study Centre details.

   • Mention the current elective/course and the new elective/course you want to switch to.

   • Provide a valid reason for the change.

4. Attach Required Documents

   • Copy of your original admission form/provisional admission letter.

   • Copy of previous mark sheets (if applicable).

   • Fee payment receipt (if required).

5. Pay the Fee (If Applicable)

   • Some programmes may require a fee adjustment (difference in course fees, if any).

   • Check with your Regional Centre for the exact fee details.

6. Submit the Form

   • Submit the filled form along with documents to your IGNOU Regional Centre (in person or via post).
