HPNLU Shimla UG, PG Courses 2026

As of my last knowledge update in June 2024, Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, offers various Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses in law. Below is the expected list of courses for 2025 based on previous years\' offerings:

UG Courses (2025)

1. BA LLB (Hons) – 5-Year Integrated Program

   • Eligibility: 10+2 with minimum marks (usually 45-50% for General, relaxed for SC/ST).

   • Admission: Through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test).

2. BBA LLB (Hons) – 5-Year Integrated Program

   • Focus: Business & Law combined.

   • Eligibility: 10+2 with required percentage.

   • Admission: CLAT.

PG Courses (2025)

1. LLM (1-Year / 2-Year Program)

   • Specializations: Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, etc.

   • Eligibility: LLB or equivalent with minimum marks (usually 50-55%).

   • Admission: Through CLAT PG or university-specific test.

2. PhD (Law & Interdisciplinary Subjects)

   • Eligibility: Master’s degree in Law with qualifying marks.

   • Admission: Entrance test + interview.

Admission Process (2025 Expected)

• CLAT 2025 (for UG & PG) – Likely in December 2024.

• HPNLU may also conduct its own entrance for vacant seats.

• Counselling through CLAT Consortium.

Important Dates (Tentative for 2025)

• CLAT 2025 Registration: August–November 2024

• CLAT 2025 Exam: December 2024

• HPNLU Counselling: June–July 2025
