Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for Research Eligibility Test from Govind Guru Tribal University. Research Eligibility Test (RET)

• Research Eligibility Test (RET) will have two papers of 100 marks each.
• The duration of each paper shall be one hour.
• 1st paper will be of General nature on Teaching and Research Aptitude
• 2nd paper will be from the subject selected by the applicant.
• The candidate will not be allowed to appear in Paper-I who does not appear in Paper I.
• Total questions in each paper will be 50 Multiple Choice Questions and each question shall carry 2 marks. 
• There will be no negative marking.

Exemption from RET

• Candidates will be exempted from appearing in RET who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF) Examination/NET/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship.

Weightage in Percentage

• Sr. Secondary 10%
• Graduation 20%
• Post-Graduation 40%
• NET/SLET (SET)/M.Phil 10%
• Bonafide Resident of the jurisdiction of this University 10%
• Fellowship (UGC/CISR) 10%

Eligibility

• Candidate should have a Master's degree with at least 55% marks or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master's degree with equivalent grade.
• From 55% to 50% relaxation of 5% of marks may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC.
• A candidate who have completed M.Phil. course work with at least 55 % marks. From 55% to 50% relaxation of 5% of marks may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC.
