Program Overview
The GNM program is a 3.5-year diploma course (including a 6-month internship) designed to train students in general nursing and midwifery practices. The curriculum is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the respective State Nursing Council.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum age: 17 years (as of December 31, 2025)
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with 40% aggregate marks (Science/Arts/Commerce stream)
- Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST candidates
- Medical fitness certificate required
