DBRAU Scholarship Details

As of my last update, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (DBRAU), also known as Agra University, offers various scholarships to support students financially. Here are the general details about scholarships at DBRAU:

1. Government Scholarships

• Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students

  • Provided by the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Government.

  • Eligibility: SC/ST/OBC students with family income below a specified limit.

  • Covers tuition fees and maintenance allowance.

• National Scholarship Portal (NSP) Schemes

  • Includes UP Scholarship, Minority Scholarship, and Merit-cum-Means Scholarship.

  • Eligibility: Based on merit, caste, and family income.

• Pragati & Saksham Scholarship (For Girls & Differently-Abled Students)

  • Offered by AICTE (for technical courses).

2. University-Specific Scholarships

• Merit-Based Scholarships

  • Awarded to top-performing students in university exams.

• Fee Waivers for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)

  • Partial or full fee waiver based on financial need.

3. UGC & Central Government Scholarships

• PG Scholarships (UGC-NET/JRF, Maulana Azad Fellowship, etc.)

  • For postgraduate and research students.
