Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BPEd varies depending on the duration of the course as well as the policy of a university/ college.

Eligibility Criteria for 3-4 Year Duration BPEd 

  • Candidates should have cleared Class XII in any stream from a recognized board a minimum percentage usually 45% - 60% or as mentioned by the university/ college in which they are seeking admission.
  • Candidates who have played some sport at the school level or have physical education subject in Class XII they will be given preference.
  • Age of the candidate should not be less than 17.

Eligibility Criteria for 1-2 Year Duration BPEd 

  • Candidates should have clear graduation from a recognized university with a minimum percentage usually 45% - 60% or as mentioned by the university/ college in which they are seeking admission.
  • Candidates who have played some sport at the school level or have physical education subject in graduation will be given preference.
  • Age of the candidate should be 19 – 25 years.

In some institutes married women are not eligible for the course otherwise both men and women are eligible for the course
