Name of the Program: Doctor of Philosophy

Duration 

• Duration for Ph.D. program shall be 3 years minimum and 6 years maximum.

Eligibility

The candidate who wants to take admission in the Ph.D. program should have Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks. The candidate who is belonging to the SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer) / Physically Handicapped candidates should have 50% marks and successful clearance of entrance test. Candidates will be exempted from entrance test who have M. Phil. NET/ GATE / SLET/ SET or equivalent and a regular teacher in a college/ University.

Steps to be followed for Admission in Ph.D. Program:

• Application form for admission may be obtained either from  Administrative Head Office 274/A, Al-Falah House, Okhla, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi-110025 or the Admission Office, AFU.
• From the downloads section, you can also download the form online and send the duly filled form in Favor of Al-Falah University, payable at New Delhi with a crossed Demand Draft/Cheque of Rs. 1500/-.

Selection Procedure

• On the basis of an MCQ entrance test & Interview, admission will be done.
• From appearing in the Entrance Test for the Ph.D. Programme following category of candidates shall be exempted
• Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET Test or have successfully completed M.Phil Programme of two years duration from a recognized university/institution.
• Thereafter, the result will be declared and selected candidates would be asked to deposit the fee and complete other formalities.
