AKTU PhD Admission 2026 - Dates, Fee Structure and How to Apply?

ONLINE Applications are invited for the admission in the Ph.D. program by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow for session 2026 in various subjects.

The application form will be invited through online mode only and no other mode will be accepted.

Ph.D. Admission to various specializations of AKTU will be through the Research Aptitude Test.

Final admission of qualified candidates will be done after the written test and interview. The candidates who are interested in the Homi Bhabha Research Cum Teaching Fellowship will be selected based on merit through online counseling.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) was built up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, vide Act Amendment No. 1156(2) LXXIX-V-1-15-1(Ka), 24-2015 dated Sept 9, 2015, Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam Sankhya 23 of 2000. The interested contender to take admission under Homi Bhabha Research Cum Teaching Fellowship must have a top of the line ME/M Tech/M.Sc. degree with at least 65% of total marks (60% for SC/ST applicants). Selection Procedure for Ph.D

Ph.D. Admission to various specializations of AKTU will be through the Research Aptitude Test.

The entrance test for admission to Ph.D. programs offered by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, U.P., Lucknow will be managed and constrained by the Academic Council of AKTU under the Chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor. Admission to the Ph.D. program

Scoring and Negative Marking

• The question paper will have 100 objective type questions. 
• All objective type questions are required to be addressed against the particular question number. The applicant should choose just a single choice for the right answer in each question. 
• More than one answer showed against a question will be esteemed as incorrect answers and no marks will be granted for the incorrect answer. 
• Negative Marking: There will be negative stamping in the Examination of the above example of Examination as follows :
