Bharati Vidyapeeth was established in the year 1964 by our Founder Dr. Patangraoji Kadam. It has today created history by establishing 187 educational institutes imparting education from the pre-primary stage to post graduate stage within a short span of 44 years.

At Bharati Vidyapeeth our objective has been to contribute to intellectual awakening and social transformation in different spheres such as education, economic, social and cultural fields in India and more particularly in Maharashtra.

Always a step ahead, in May 1995 the department of human resources development, Government of India, on the recommendations, of the University Grants Commission accorded the status of Deemed University to 26 institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth. In the year 2000, three more institutions were accorded the same status. Within such a short span of time, the unique performance of Bharati Vidyapeeth's is accredited to none other than the man himself Dr. Patangrao Kadam.
