Pursuant to the directives issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (Capital Markets Section) vide letter no. F.No.5 (17)/CM/06, dated 26th May 2006, Indian Institute of Capital Market- erstwhile UTI Institute of Capital Markets (IICM) is amalgamated* with National Institute of Securities Market (NISM). As per the amalgamation scheme adopted by the Board of Directors of IICM and NISM, IICM had stopped its activities from January 01, 2015 and has ceased to exist from March 31, 2015. All the amalgamation formalities are near closure.
